ESLL Tryouts – Saturday, January 21 CANCELLED
Tryouts are cancelled this week. The make-up date is Saturday, January 28, 2012. The times remain the same.
- 9:30-11 am: Majors baseball (fields 1 & 2); Majors softball (field 3)
- 11 am-12:30 pm: AAA baseball (fields 1 & 2); Minors softball (field 3)
- 12:30-2 pm: AA baseball (fields 1 & 2); Rookies softball (field 3)
There are no tryouts for Tee Ball or the A division.
Sunday, January 8
East Sac Little League Baseball and Softball Tryouts—January 14 & 21
Tryouts will be held January 14 and 21 (with January 28 as a make-up date if either of those two dates are rained out). Tryouts are used to evaluate each player's skill level for purposes of creating balanced teams. Every player intending to play Majors, AAA, or AA baseball or Majors, Minors, or Rookies softball must attend one of the two tryouts. The schedule is as follows:
- 9:30-11 am: Majors baseball (fields 1 & 2); Majors softball (field 3)
- 11 am-12:30 pm: AAA baseball (fields 1 & 2); Minors softball (field 3)
- 12:30-2 pm: AA baseball (fields 1 & 2); Rookies softball (field 3)
There are no tryouts for divisions below AA and Rookies.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no paper registration this year, so every player trying out must be registered electronically IN ADVANCE OF TRYOUTS. Due to Little League, Inc. rules regarding insurance coverage, no player can try out without being registered. In addition, please remember to BRING YOUR SNACK BAR DEPOSIT CHECK for $50 per child to the tryouts if you have not already sent it to the Registrar. Players will not be permitted to try out without a snack bar deposit.
