ESLL VOLUNTEER POLICIES 

Hours worked in the Snack Shack MUST be logged into the Volunteer Hours Tracking Log and APPROVED by the Snack Shack Coordinator. 

BBQ volunteer must be 18 years of age or older.

• If you need to reschedule or cancel a shift, you must do so (either via Sign Up Genius or by emailing the Volunteer Coordinator) within 48 hours of the shift start time, or you will forfeit your volunteer deposit. 
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for any shift (snack shack, field prep, etc.), you will be asked to go home, as we will have had to find a replacement.  You will be given one opportunity to reschedule before your deposit is forfeited. 
• If you do not show up for your shift, you forfeit your volunteer deposit and you will be removed from the volunteer roster.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

• If volunteer shifts are canceled due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances and you are notified by the Volunteer Coordinator via email with less than two hours notice of the shift start time, you will still be given the volunteer credit.  If given more than two hours' notice, you will need to sign up for a replacement shift.

HIRING A SUB - SNACK SHACK ONLY - POLICIES & APPROVED LIST OF PROVIDERS

If you are unable to volunteer, you have the opportunity to hire a sub to complete your service requirement.  Each family is responsible for scheduling two sub shifts to meet the volunteer requirement, coordinating with the sub, and payment of the sub in cash.  The current pay rate is $40 per three hour shift.  Upon completion of six hours, the scheduling family will receive credit for the volunteer requirement for one player. 

HOW TO HIRE A SUB:

Sign up for your shift on Sign Up Genius and write your subs name in the comments section. 

Your sub must sign in/out noting your child’s league and division for your family to receive credit. 

Only pre-approved subs on the list below or included in the Volunteer sign up notification on Sign Up Genius may be hired. 

Subs must be at least 14 years of age, and selected from the pre-approved list for work in the Snack Shack.  One adult must be present per shift.

Anyone 18 years or older can work on behalf of your player(s) - if younger than 18, they must be pre-approved and included on there list.
